Laura Steen – Chiropractor

Laura graduated from the University of Glamorgan in 2003 with a BSc (Hons) Chiropractic degree and has worked with the Grekin Clinic since this time. Laura became interested in Chiropractic following treatment for sporting injuries as a keen athlete in her teens. Since embarking on a career as a Chiropractor Laura has gained experience working with both individuals and teams from international athletes to the keen hobbyist. Sports Chiropractic is evermore a part of an athlete’s treatment and rehabilitation, with a focus on trying to prevent injury and enhance performance. Laura has found this approach to work well, not just with sports people but in virtually every Chiropractic patient. Chiropractic in the sporting domain is just one of Laura’s professional interests. Laura is a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association(SCA), a Licentiate of the Royal College of Chiropractors (RCC) and Sports Faculty and the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine (BASEM), Laura is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) Reg No 02064

Marie Cashley – Chiropractor

Marie graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, with over 20 years of clinical experience Marie has served in various roles within the Irish and Scottish Chiropractic Associations. Marie has published research looking at Cystitis, as well as the background incidence of stroke. Marie is a fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors and currently serves on the General Chiropractic Council – the regulatory body for chiropractors in the UK. Marie is a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) Reg No 00375

Mark Cashley – Chiropractor

Mark graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, later completing an MSc in nutrition. Mark has over 20 years clinical experience and has previously served terms as President of both the Irish and Scottish Chiropractic Associations. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors and has published numerous research papers. Mark is currently a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) Reg No 00510.

Kristina Smith – Chiropractor

Kristina graduated from the University of Glamorgan with a Masters of Chiropractic degree. During this time she learned the essential foundations of Chiropractic which she now uses within the clinic on a daily basis. She has attended a wide variety of post-graduate seminars, with a particular focus on pregnancy and paediatric care which Kristina has a keen interest in. As part of her CPD (continual professional development) she has also undertaken courses related to kinesiology taping and proprioceptive techniques. She is currently a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association, a Licentiate of the Royal College of Chiropractors and is Registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) Reg No 03821.

Jo McColgan – Physiotherapist

Jo McColgan MCSP, HPC, BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy, BSc Exercise & Sports Science; has more than fifteen years’ experience working as a Chartered Physiotherapist having graduated from Robert Gordon School of Physiotherapy in Aberdeen. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Organisation of Physiotherapists in Private Practice and the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, she is also registered with the Health Professions Council. Jo has worked with many elite athletes and has been a treatment provider for the Scottish Institute of Sport and physiotherapist to the British Biathlon Team.

David Cashley – Podiatrist

David graduated in 1997 with an honours degree in Podiatry and has been working in private practice ever since. David has a special interest in biomechanics and manipulation and has published a number of papers in this field. This aspect of practice allows David to work closely with sportsmen and women to enhance performance or speed of rehabilitation from injuries by applying mechanical principles of movement and function. David utilises these same principles to improve the function and well-being of a broad spectrum of the population. Everyone can benefit from the enhanced performance that podiatry brings, and David feels privileged to be a part of that process.
